As you see, it needs some steps to add a separate page to show details of an article. Does the module support display details directly? The answer is yes. If you do not select a page that contains DNNArticle View, the details will be shown in “edit” view of the DNNArticle. That means you cannot add other modules such as ad bars and the skin will be admin skin.

No. The old one cannot be replaced. This was an issur before 6.8 version. Since 6.8.5, the file name of uploaded file will be added time stamp to avoid existing files overwrited.

 From 6.8 version, you can set the max size of uploaded media file. In Options->General, you can set Max upload file size .
